Commitment to Our Local Community
To grow and prosper, communities require care. It is the work of many hands ... sharing many talents, many hours, and many gifts. Scott Carr and the members of The Carr Group share this commitment to the community in which they live and work, to make it a better place, to make a difference.
Among the most valued gifts are those that cultivate knowledge. When we educate others — to multiply fractions, nurture children, enter the workplace, or appreciate the arts — we enrich the entire community by enriching its members. One generation teaches the next the importance of healthy minds, bodies, and spirits.
This work takes many hands committed to giving the gift of knowledge: the corporate hand that funds, as well as the thousands of hands that volunteer. In giving their time and their talents, by caring for each other, the members of the community care for the larger enterprise.
